Videos and Audio

PLWM have captured some of the events and activities and some of the stories of industrial heritage in Ceredigion' uplands on video and audio.  Here are some movie clips of the PLWM heritage weekend we did in August 09 and the Open Doors Heritage Weekend in September 09. Vale of Rheidol Train: The Vale of Rheidol Steam Railway from Aberystwyth to Devil's Bridge is a popular visitor attraction and a piece of industrial heritage, originally set up to carry ore to the coast from the uplands.  This footage was taken from Cwm Rheidol on the PLWM Heritage Weekend 09.   PLWM are funding the new audio on the train in the near future for visitors to listen to heritage information whilst sitting on the train.
Gwaith Goch Mine: Gwaith Goch mine is in the Vale of Rheidol and can be visited by foot on a public right of way from the village of Cwm Rheidol.  The mine ruins were filmed on the PLWM Heritage Weekend 2009.  Further footage and audio of the weekend coming soon to this section.
