Graig Goch mine is situated nearby to Frongoch Mines.  Towards the close of the Great War, the Lisburne Development Syndicate commissioned a ropeway from Frongoch to Graig Goch where a new mill was erected to dress dump material.  It spanned 3,050 yards and was installed sometime before September 1919 but only ran from 1924 to 1930 before being scrapped in 1931 having carried 15,000 tonnes of material for re-processing.
